Bombardier/Airbus A220 aircraft Entry into Service Support Program

PilotMovers and Avionco are now in the process of initiating a training pilot group to assist Airbus Canada with EIS support for their new customers globally.

Project scope is in support of new aircraft operators and conducting training in support of their start-up operations. Multiple customer deliveries starting in 2019/2020.


Terms and Conditions


Type of Contract:

Contract based


Initial Contract:

6 months renewable, Bombardier/Airbus have sold 576 units to date hence the support contract is evolving and will be ongoing for several years to come.

Rotation during start up period:

6 weeks on 3 off / 5 weeks on 3 off / 4 weeks on 4 off – Time off will additionally be provided while on assignment and pilots can use days to travel home if time permits. Rotations are subject to change based on customer’s requirements.


Benefits: Initiated upon commencement of program after training


Line Training Captain TRI/TRE


  • Salary: USD to be determined on a case by case bases
  • Per Diem – Up to USD 75 / day (receipts mandatory for reimbursement)
  • Airfares (business intl/economy dom), accommodation with laundry, internet & breakfast provided, airline provides shuttle for duty periods
  • Accommodation 4-5 star in accordance with industry standards


Type rating A220:

Provided by Avionco; There will be no salary provided during training period however airfare, accommodation, transportation and perdiem up to USD 75.00 per day will be provided by the company (receipts mandatory for reimbursement)


Recurrent Training:

Provided by Avionco


Work Permits & Visas:

Assistance will be provided by the company and customer to obtain, cost will be reimbursed


License cost:

Will be carried by the pilot and or shared equally by pilot and Avionco



A training bond for training will be approved by both Pilot and Avionco prior to commencement of the training. Price points based on actuals to be determined and identified.
